Bracing Faith

The conspiring droplets tell me a story
Of a thousand pain in the hundreds of alleys and roads –
Your eyes that create a façade of those days
When the smile called me to meet you again and again
The restlessness prevails…

In this spring as I hold a bucket full of water
From the rain drops that just filled a little dust
And sands and mud accumulated in the dry days at the tin roof …
The tiny droplets greet me as I spread my arms beneath the sky, whilst
A child walks past in school dress with a colourful umbrella
Hanging by the shoulder… the big drops descend,
Conquering the outer silence!

The eunuchs vibrate their feet past a racing vehicle
Splashing water from the bucket to cleanse the look,
As she springs forth her torso into an act, defying
Gestures into a symbolical kapurush-mahapurush fad –
Bubbling with life’s abundance beauty, fiery countenance
In the rattling waters, as eyes galore!

The streets shine with the silvery droplets
Whilst a cat rushes to the pine tree, its claws firmly
Gripping the tight skin amidst swirling sound of the leaves…
The droplets raise the sequencing sound rotating in patterns
And sizes, as umbrellas drape the colourful streets!

Charming and curious; weird and strange;
The beat of the drums from the frame attract
The tourists… modern, yet unusually old-world
That calls the wild tide with a bizarre appeal…
As the eunuchs gather intriguingly with stimulating energy
Rousing the beats amidst the heavy downpour, absorbing
Within the enchanting and alluring call of the hills!

The conspiring droplets foretold a story of a thousand
Beleaguered siege, of life and death; of love and hope;
Resonating with the vibrancy of enticing the invited soul
Enthralling in ecstasy, as calmness contains the self!

For I have drawn the magnetic charm of the captive
Confinement, entrapping the deception and stirring the emotions…
As I have come to drown myself in the tutorship of the beats;
Benignly acquainting with the compassionate exuberance,
While I gently open the doors for the wind’s benevolence!

The alluring droplets brace my faith...
